MAP Engenharia e Construção rehabilitated Casa das Riscas, one of the most iconic buildings in the town of Cascais, dating back to 1900, transforming it into Café Joyeux Cascais.
This new space, in which we employed our experience and care for detail, has a semi-basement and two floors, offers 32 seats in its interior room and 16 extra seats on a side terrace, in addition to eight seats on its balcony terrace. Furthermore, it is the first of this solidarity project to provide a training and meeting room for businesses.
This rehabilitation work by MAP Engenharia e Construção, within the scope of social responsibility, is now the third and most recent inclusive and solidarity café-restaurant to open in Portugal, developed by Associação VilaComVida in partnership with Café Joyeux.
Café Joyeux Cascais is an especially important project for MAP Engenharia e Construção , as it will employ and train young adults with intellectual and developmental difficulties, stimulating their social and professional inclusion.
