Official Warranty and After-Sales Technician (Lisbon)

MAP Property Services is looking for a professional with proven experience for the position of Official Warranty and After-Sales Technician in the Civil Construction sector, for the Greater Lisbon area.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Support and assist managers in analyzing the received complaints and their respective causes.
  • Analyze and conduct water tests to detect infiltrations and their respective resolution.
  • Coordinate and supervise the auxiliary workers under your responsibility.
  • Implement good practices of safety, hygiene, quality, and environmental standards at work (construction site).
  • Protect all construction elements for the execution of correction and/or modification work.
  • Carry out the demolition and reconstruction of walls, replacement of broken floor or wall coverings, such as tiles, mosaics, stone cladding, among others.
  • Prepare and plan civil construction work.
  • Organize the storage of materials and tools under your responsibility on the construction site.
  • Receive materials and confirm the correct items and their good condition.
  • Ensure the satisfaction of the client (Dono de Obra).
  • Ensure quality in civil construction work, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical installations.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Education level of 9th grade or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Civil Construction field (will be valued).
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment (will be valued).
  • Strong sense of responsibility and goal-oriented approach.
  • Full proficiency in the Portuguese language, both oral and written.

The main responsibilities will be:

  • Analysis of complaints and identification of their causes;
  • Analysis and definition of constructive solutions for resolving complaints and their implementation;
  • Preparation of budget and intervention costs to be presented to the Subcontractor and/or Client;
  • Consultation/Negotiation/Awarding of Subcontracting and Supplies;
  • Execution and monitoring of the work plan;
  • Preparation of measurement records for subcontractors and production records with the Client;
  • Contract management with the Client and supervision.
  • Manage all works, subcontractors, and supplies on-site, across various specialties;
  • Ensure continuous communication with the Client throughout the complaint process until its resolution and validation;
  • Ensure the knowledge and involvement of the Special Installations department in handling complaints related to specialties;
  • Analysis and discussion of complaints with the production department;
  • Analysis and review of project elements (drawn and written documents);
  • Supervise and ensure the proper execution of the work;
  • Manage teams (internal and external).

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience;
  • Experience in Project Management with a general contractor (valued);
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently;
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment;
  • Strong sense of responsibility and goal-oriented approach.
  • Good knowledge of English and French (will be valued);
  • Computer skills in the following programs: MS Office, AutoCAD, Infraspeak, and MS Project.
