The Campo Alegre Offices, located in the city of Porto, will undergo an ambitious rehabilitation project aimed at transforming it into a modern and functional office space. This intervention seeks not only to renovate the existing building but also to adapt it to the new demands of the business market, providing a more flexible environment suited to contemporary needs.
Currently, the building consists of a single office unit. With the upcoming renovations, the space will be redesigned and divided into several units, efficiently distributed across seven floors. This reorganization will allow for better use of the available space, enabling the creation of multiple independent units, each optimized for different companies or organizations.
The project has been carefully planned to maintain and take advantage of the existing structural elements, preserving the building’s integrity. However, significant changes will be made to enhance functionality and safety, including the construction of new stairwells and the demolition of the old staircase structures. These modifications aim to improve internal circulation and ensure compliance with current safety and accessibility regulations.
